The 115th Fires Brigade published their first issue of Cowboy Thunder, the monthly newsletter for the 115 FiB. Soldiers from 1st Battaion 147 Field Artillery are pictured in several places such as the Transfer of Authority, Combat Patch Ceremonies (article on page 4), and the Volunteer Photographers on page 15. Relief in Place and Transfer-Of-Authority (RIPTOA) Ceremony-Camp Patriot, Kuwait Raising the South Dakota Flag Hiki No or “Can Do” is the motto of the 1-487th Field Artillery Battalion from Hawaii. The 1-487th FA BN transferred control of the Command of Camp Patriot in Kuwait to the 1-147th Field Artillery Battalion from South Dakota. Read the rest of this entry »
